By using Changelogit ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Description of the Service

Changelogit automatically generates changelogs from your GitHub repositories by analyzing commits and pull requests. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account (at minimum, a valid email address).
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activity that occurs under it.
  • You may delete your account at any time.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

  • The Service offers a Free plan with usage limits and a Pro plan billed via Stripe.
  • Payments are handled by Stripe; we do not store your payment details.
  • Subscription fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

4. User Data and Intellectual Property

  • You retain full ownership of your source code and repository content.
  • We only process commit and pull request metadata, and we temporarily analyze Git diffs to generate changelogs. We do not store your code or raw diffs.
  • The generated changelogs are provided for your use and distribution.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including (but not limited to):

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
  • Using the Service to generate misleading or harmful content.
  • Reselling or redistributing the Service without permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is.” We make no warranties regarding availability, reliability, or accuracy. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service.

7. Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the Service.

8. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are significant, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
